“I recently purchased a vehicle from Barrhaven Mazda out of province, with everything handled by phone, text, and email. Adam was great to deal with—after a small miscommunication at the start, he was very responsive and timely.
The main challenges weren’t with Adam directly. The car was shipped on a Tuesday, but the registration and license paperwork wasn’t sent until Friday, arriving the following Tuesday. Adam did send me a copy of the license, which allowed me to get the car inspected right away. However, I couldn’t complete the registration because of an ownership question.
The purchase agreement listed the trade name ‘Barrhaven Motors,’ while the registration was under the company’s legal name. Since I was up against a deadline, I had to go to the Ontario business registry myself to confirm they were the same.
Overall, I’m very happy with the vehicle and Adam’s service, but I’d recommend Barrhaven Mazda tighten up their paperwork process for out-of-province buyers.”
